Why does God ask me to WAIT till marriage?
Jesus wants you to be in a relationship that last forever. To have sex before that time would be harming to the growth of a healthy relationship. The emotional baggage of guilt and shame, especially for the female, may bring a depressive state of mind. Many people, who have premarital sex, suffer from the physical challenges of HIV, AIDS, and STDs.
Jesus desires you to have a happy, vibrant, fulfilled life, while enjoying healthy relationships that last. Here is a beautiful verse of scripture, “I will bless you with a future filled with hope--a future of success, not of suffering.” Jeremiah 29:11 (CEV)
